Peeping Uncle Larry!

After all of the hilarious bashing that took place the past week with Hazzy banning SLiPwnz, we were able to witness some funny ass shit! After days of harrassment and protests, Hazzy decided to come back to the Pub. Everyone was excited to see him there, but wait....Hazzy never came into a game and only sat in spectate. Hmmmm...so Blumpy being the observent Admin that he is, kicked the spectating Hazzy only to see him re-appear within seconds. What was Hazzy doing just sitting in spectate? When confronted by the worried Admin Blumpy, Hazzy responded he had company over and was showing them the game. No wait...he said maybe he was to drunk to "paly". Rumor has it that he was recording Demo's on suspected CARE haxors. ????? WHAT!!!! CARE has a Haxor? Looking at our scores and records, I am not sure that could be true. But then again...you never know. Now that I think of it, SheriffDeputy has a "walking hair". I have seen plenty of hairs on a toilet seat, but never a walking one. Hmmmmm I guess the saying stays true...Once a Haxor, Always a Haxor...ain't that right VMal, SLiPwnz, FOUR-DZ-NUTZ, Madd Maxx, Blumpy, Sendero, Chumz, Rottencroc, and ViolentJ. The only true players on the server now a days are Livonia Thuggs, Target, ROCK, Lt. Dog and GEM][N][. All I can say is if there are haxors on our pub or not, I love this game, I love this clan and I love the funny shit that goes on everyday! CARE...Reprenting the "D"! With a little flavor in Chicago, New York, St. Louis and Alaska.
(The names listed are not really haxors and this story is only a CARE joke..hahahaha)

Better Late Than Never!

Our LAN party turned out to be very successful once again and it also gave us the opportunity to meet a couple of our friends from St. Louis who were representing Targets Tarts. A special thanks goes out to our sponsors that helped make the day memorable. Lots of fun, prizes and food was available not to mention all the gaming. Gun Game is BACK!

Our Good friend Jubei is about to ship off to Iraq (We wish him the best) and has asked if we could maintain his game server while he is away. Hazzy gladly accepted the offer and had put the Gun Game on that server. Be sure to check it out and hazzy is working diligently to make sure that everything is running to [CARE] quality. Server Updated!

With the [CARE] Server becoming more and more popular and the clan getting bigger than Blumpy's belly, GMan decided to do something about it! The nub's no longer have to fear getting kicked to make room for [CARE] members and the capacity has gone from a 20 person server to a 28 person server.

Unfortunateley to accommodate this action, we had to drop to a 66 tick rate instead of the 100 tick rate we once enjoyed. But GMan decided that it was more important to have many peeps on at one time that some of us experiencing faster game play. if it is really noticable. According to FOUR-DZ-NUTZ, his game has been affected by the change. But if you were to ask anyone on the server, he lacks the skillz at any rate or level. J/K Nutz.....Hazzy told me to write this. LOL

So jump on and enjoy the game play with more of the clan members and the frequent visitors we have at our server. Also, we have to give a shout out to Nonameservers for making all of this possible. The website continues to receive it's make-overs & regular updates and we sure hope everyone appreciates all the hard work GMan puts into the website. Anyhoo...Chumz and Gemini are currently working on some additions for the website and are in need of a photograph of all the current members of [CARE]. Follow the rules listed below and everything will be fine and nobody gets hurt. Neglect these rules and photographs of Blumpy breast feeding FOUR-DZ-NUTZ will be posted everywhere. Here are the rules:

1. Your image on the website will be 200x200. Make sure your face is at least this size. Bigger the better. Scaling up the image will make it appear grainy. I will not use a grainy image... your picture will be REJECTED!

2. Include your game name in the email. The way you spell your name is the way it will look on the website... capital letters, special characters, etc. Im using Impact script, so be sure that any special characters work with Impact script. I will not make special characters... your name will be REJECTED!

NEW Look Forums & Logo!

After having just a basic looking forum for some time, Chumz steps up and gives it a make over. It looks like the forums went on one of the reality shows where they fix up your house and make it look all purdy! And what can we say about the new logo? IT IS DA BOMB! It is starting to look like CARE is a clan to be reckoned with! Click the new look logo to check out the new looking forums or just click on "Forums" in the navigation section. Great job Chumz!

LAN Party Date Changed!

Just wanted everyone to know that the date for the upcoming LAN party has been changed to May 17, 2008. Back in November of 2007, we went ahead and scheduled 3 dates in 2008 so that we can have the hall for our upcoming LAN's without any issues.

Our January LAN went as planned but our date of May 10, 2008 for the 'Sho Uz Yo Skewz 2008" LAN party posed a problem. We have come to realize that it is scheduled to take place on the Saturday before Mothers Day. A lot of people who attended last years LAN that took place the day before Mothers Day ended up having hangovers or just plain worn out and neglected to spend quality time with their mom or baby's momma.

So to keep everyone happy ecspecially the Mom's that we all know and love, we have moved the date to the following Saturday on May 17, 2008. We sure hope this will eliminate any problems and we sure hope that it doesn't pose a scheduling conflict. Hopefully the weather will be decent and allow us to break out the grill for our lunch time menu. be sure to pass this info on to all the peeps that would be interested in attending.

[CARE] Roster Posted

After a recent rash of kicks and bans for using the [CARE] tag during game play on our server, we decided to post the most current [CARE] roster available. This list contains all of the current players and some of the inactive players. And we must not forget our junior players that wear the lower case [care] tag.

We sure hope that this will help the admins decipher our members and who the imposters may be. And word to the wise, if you get kicked or banned by ROCK, you must understand that he rides the short bus (see picture below) and sometimes it is just too hard for him to contain himself from using improper judgement.

Additional [CARE] TWL Team?

After a discussion with GMan the other day, there were talks about how many people are now in the [CARE] Clan and how this could create a possible problem with individuals competeing in the different leagues or matches that we play each week.

So a few ideas were tossed around and one was to create another [CARE] team in the TWL 5 v 5 Season 8 brackets (if allowed). If we are not able to get into the league for that season, we would almost definitely like to put together another [CARE] team in Season 9. The only problem that we would come across would be as to who played on what team? You would not be able to play on both teams and would have to represent one or the other.

Several ideas were thought of and one was to designate a Captain and Co-Captain of each team and have a draft similar to picking teams at the LAN party during matches. This would allow teams to be equally competetive and also give many members a chance to compete in the matches.

With the popularity of [CARE] growing each and every day, we decided to keep up with society and a MySpace page was created devoted solely to the [CARE] Clan. By being a memebr of the MySace community, we will be able to share the pictures of the variety of [CARE] events that take place. New Way to Register for LAN

In the past we would have everyone send an e-mail letting us know if they planned on attending our LAN party and the we would post it on the site. Well, we now have a feature that will no longer require you to send us a e-mail and it will make life easier for everyone (we hope).

On the right side of the website you will find a section for the RSVP of the upcoming LAN date. Just click the register button, enter the information needed and Whallah! You will be able to leave your name, e-mail address, website and a message. It would probably make life easier if you left your CS:Source name unless you don't have one.

This system will hopefully give us a better idea on how many peeps will be in attendance so we can prepare for food, beverages and prizes in advance.

TWL & CAL Info Added to Website

As we are trying to spice up the website to be a bit more informative, you will notice that we have added our match information to the website in a special section just above the Google Search box.

We will try to keep it current with information pertaining to when the next match is scheduled for the [CARE] clan. We are now currently members of TWL and CAL and the links have been provided to view the team page for the respective leagues. As usual, the information will be posted in the forums, but this will hopefully provide a quick reference as to when the next match is scheduled for.

Now let's go use our skewz and kick some arse!

LAN 2008 is a Hit!

If you missed it, be sure you don't miss the next one. The first LAN of 2008 turned out to be another classic hosted by 313Gaming & [CARE].

The games were fun, the food was great and the prizes were plentiful as each participant walked away with a door prize, a full belly and tons of laughter and memories. We would like to thank everyone who participated in helping make it a great day.

[CARE] is in TWL Open League season seven and some other ladders like 3v3 pistols only, 5v5 and 8v8 ladders.
